A little something from Mo Ryan's Watcher column , here's something that might interest us DT fans;since it's got a lot of other tv show chat and spoilers, I'm posting the pertinent bits(As always delete me if i ought not to have posted) ETA: Mo Ryan appears to be quite the Doctor Who/ DT fan, since she's got some interesting bits about the final 10 'sodes in the blog(from comic con I think?)

Robbie: David Tennant has been hired for a supposedly Chicago-based legal drama for NBC. Any thoughts if this will follow the path of "ER" and bring the production here to Chicago?

Mo sez: Tennant, whom you can see in the "Doctor Who" TV movie "Waters of Mars" on BBC America Dec. 19, will play the lead in the NBC pilot "Rex Is Not Your Lawyer," Nothing's been announced about the pilot's shooting date yet, but I assume it will not be filmed in Chicago. Given the cost-cutting that's going on at most networks, I'd be surprised if there's enough money in the pilot budget to support location filming. If the show gets picked up and becomes a series (and we won't know whether that will happen until some time in 2010), perhaps "Rex" may visit the Windy Dity. But, as is the case with FX's "The League" and CBS' "The Good Wife" (to name just two recent examples), it's easy to set a show in our fair city without filming anywhere near it.

Oh, great David Tennant fangirl nation, I come bearing a humble request for a music video.  I don't think it has been done before, but I think it NEEDS to be done.  I think it would be appropriate for there to be a music fanvid of David, set to the song, "Desperado," either in the original by the Eagles or by Ryan Kelly of Celtic Thunder.  The song so speaks to the loneliness of the Doctor's life, but it doesn't have to be restricted to the Doctor.  I just think the song fits.  If someone can and will do this, I would much appreciate it.  Thanks!! 

i just thought i'd post this, because i'm over excited as i'm going to be in this months doctor who magazine with david tennant! it all happened when i won a competition earlier this year to become a reporter on the set and watch one of this years specials be filmed, so if anybody's interested take a look i'd just thought i'd post anyway, please no nasty comments, i'm only just sixteen! and i'm just an over excited teenager! i guess, lol.

According to Wikipedia, David Tennant will be a guest along with Lee Mack and Bill Bailey on the Christmas special of the 'G' series of Qi on December 24th 2009. I'm thinking on either BBC1 or BBC2 in the UK.

TV this Christmas is looking quite smashing. :D
